Wow, you guys all feel EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of how I feel on Wolverine + Cyclops vs. Cap + Iron Man. Having Wolverine lead one of the factions feels totally contrived & making a Cyke/Wolvie 'breakup' happen this way seems to completely misread the relationship. Whereas, I'll grant storytelling problems with Civil War, those characters being on opposite sides over issues that matter seems like a logical outgrowth of years of relationship.

OTHER THAN THAT, MRS. LINCOLN. . .

I agree 'Schism's been really well done.

This was a strange issue in terms for a lot of reasons, not least of which is how it fits into this arc thematically. Even the interview portions were paced really differently from the huge grids that Bendis normally writes.

Is this a Cap issue or a Maria Hill issue? If it's either one, then why does Daisy Johnson need to save the day? The other issues in this arc and the accompanying arc in New Avengers, are about giving their spotlight characters a big hero moment. That is the opposite of what happens here, and it's kind of frustrating because it's so muddled.

And as an aside, we have two Marvel comics with two shield-surfing scenes in the same week.
